Main Floor Remodel in South Anchorage, AK

When I was finished this space was transformed from vintage 1970s with dark corners and scalp-puncturing "crows feet" ceiling texture into a light and airy place to relax and watch the pup chasing his rawhide bone across the new Cali Bamboo flooring. A new vinyl window went in along with a built-in window seat with storage beneath. The original convoluted shelving was replaced with stained oak book shelving inside the den area above the window seat. 4" recessed remote control-dimmable LED lighting replaced old center lighting and washes the perimeter walls with light, brightening things up when needed or creating a mood scene for kicking back and relaxing. I really like projects like this. Total change from old to new.
